\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Late Night With the Devil actress Laura Gordon<\/a> will continue to find more scares in Blumhouse and Sony\/Screen Gems\/Stage 6 Films\u2019 Insidious 6<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tShe joins a booming previously announced cast that\u2019s over on the Australian set under the direction of Jacob Chase including Amelie Eve, Brandon Perea, Lin Shaye, Misie Richardson-Sellers, Sam Spruell and Island Austin. Mark your calendars for the sixthquel\u2019s theatrical release on Aug. 21, 2026. <\/p>\n

\n\tChase as we told you before co-wrote the movie with David Leslie Johnson. The logline is under wraps. The film is produced by Jason Blum, Oren Peli, James Wan, and Leigh Whannell, with executive producers Ryan Turek, Steven Schneider, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, and Johnson.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe previous Insidious: The Red Door in 2023 became the horror series\u2019 highest-grossing title with just under $200M worldwide. Since the franchise\u2019s debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2010, Insidious has become one of the most enduring and successful horror series of all time, grossing more than $740 million worldwide. This year\u2019s TIFF marks 15 years since the original film\u2019s premiere.<\/p>\n

\n\tGordon recently wrapped Amazon MGM Studios\u2019 feature Voltron opposite Henry Cavill, Rita Ora, Sterling K. Brown, and Alba Baptista, and will next appear in the Stan Original Series Watching You. She starred in MGM+\/Stan\u2019s Hotel Cocaine with Danny Pino and Michael Chiklis and in Cameron and Colin Cairnes\u2019 horror film Late Night with the Devil opposite David Dastmalchian. The movie made its world premiere at the 2023 SXSW, and was named one of the best horror films of 2024. Gordon also earned a Best Lead Actress nomination at the 2025 AACTA Awards.<\/p>\n

\n\tOther feature credits include The Claremont Murders, Tribeca-premiering short Hafekasi, and Miranda Nation\u2019s Undertow, which also brought her an AACTA Best Lead Actress nomination. Other film work includes Streamline, Joe Cinque\u2019s Consolation, Come Back to Me, Em 4 Jay, Face to Face, Embedded, Tom White, Apricot, and Problem Play.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn television, Laura has appeared in Halifax: Retribution, Reckoning, Secret City, Reef Break, Harrow, Hunters, Hoges, Winners & Losers, Miss Fisher\u2019s Murder Mysteries, Rizzoli & Isles, Major Crimes, Underbelly, Blue Heelers, and Legend of the Seeker, among others.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlso a producer, she executive-produced Amiel Courtin-Wilson\u2019s Hail (Venice Film Festival), Noora Niasari\u2019s T\u00c2M, and Nick Barkla\u2019s award-winning documentary The Healing. A founding ensemble member of Red Stitch Actors Theatre, she has appeared in multiple productions for the Melbourne Theatre Company.<\/p>\n
