Martin Buday appeared on Bowks Talking Bouts and touched on this subject after being released from the UFC and announcing he had re-signed with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uqORwFnT3w8&amp;list=PLWPPlxwBPaXYpU3OlC2AEeF-ahwj7DW8j\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oktagon MMA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Buday previously fought on Pereira\u2019s undercard at UFC 303 [when \u2018Poatan\u2019 finished<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bjpenn.com\/mma-news\/jiri-prochazka\/jiri-prochazka-will-be-a-problem-for-khalil-rountree-at-ufc-320-per-former-prochazka-training-partner-martin-buday\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Jiri Prochazka<\/a> for the second time], and the former Oktagon MMA heavyweight champion bested Andrei Arlovski. When asked if this UFC 320 rematch will play out largely similar to the first fight between Pereira and Ankalaev, Buday said,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I saw the first fight between them, I think Alex was like a little bit different than he was in like his previous fights. So maybe he had some injury or something was happening that like the outside world of his camp didn\u2019t know. So we will see. I\u2019m really excited for the fight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt will be like high level MMA. So it will be good fight and we will see how will Alex perform. Because like I think that first fight he wasn\u2019t like in his typical pace or I don\u2019t know how can I say that. But something like was looking a little bit off\u2026 Yeah, we will see. I\u2019m excited for that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Alex Pereira, Magomed Ankalaev, and the concept that \u201cevery fight is different\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When mentioning the talking point that some fans had, which posited that perhaps Pereira was overly active and burnt out heading into the first fight with Ankalaev in March. In that context, when touching on the idea that \u2018Poatan\u2019 might have a more spirited showing in the sequel clash with his competitive schedule being more tempered as of late, Buday stated,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah. Something might happen. Yeah. He was like really active and maybe something happened in the camp or maybe it was like style to style. Maybe he didn\u2019t catch up on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bjpenn.com\/mma-news\/alex-pereira\/alex-pereira-and-magomed-ankalaev-2-will-play-out-the-same-per-ex-ufc-vet\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Magomed [Ankalaev]<\/a> style or fighting style. So every fight is different.
