After back-to-back wins, the Dockers will bounce across the country for a pair of clashes against in-form top-eight contenders in Melbourne.<\/p>\n
Fremantle will face sixth-placed Carlton on Friday at Ikon Park, before staying in Melbourne to face Hawthorn the following Thursday.<\/p>\n
After winning all of their away games last season up until their semifinal loss to Adelaide, Fremantle are looking forward to time on the road, and while both teams will be a stiff test, Webb said they wanted two wins from two.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a business trip for us. We really want to focus on taking four points from each game,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cEveryone will fly across. We\u2019ve got girls coming back from injury. They get (access to) our full medical team when we\u2019re away, and we recruited a lot of Victorians as well.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s really nice for them to be able to get home to their family as well and understand what it\u2019s like to play elite football for 10 days on the road. It\u2019s something that we get an opportunity to present to those players that may not have travelled yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

Star ruck Mim Strom said the tight-knit Dockers group loved spending time together, but the coming away stint would also allow them to properly immerse themselves in being elite athletes.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe love to get away, play a few card games, that always brings up the competitive spirit \u2014 and then the bonding, going out and coffee, spending time with each other,\u201d Strom said.<\/p>\n
\u201cGetting time to be almost a full-time athlete, not having to worry about work, we can put more time into our team meetings.<\/p>\n
\u201cI get to be around the midfield, talk about strategy and the things we\u2019re going to do each week, and that really helps. Having that time with your team, and also the access to coaches, is awesome when we get away.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Dockers won five regular-season interstate games last season and will be joined on this trip by the full complement of their squad, plus a few additional tag-alongs.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re a really connected group, we love getting away,\u201d Webb said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s a few kids hanging around as well so it balances out the business side of wanting to perform with the family side as well.
