ECU\u2019s Joondalup Pines Gardens will be transformed into an immersive world of dinosaurs, science and creative exploration when the Little Feet Festival returns on Sunday, October 26.<\/p>\n

The event will be hosted by the City of Joondalup and more than 5000 people are expected to attend for five hours of interactive activities, food trucks, and live entertainment in a program aimed at sparking curiosity and imagination in young minds.<\/p>\n

Attendees will get an opportunity to excavate dinosaur fossils, launch CO2 rockets, experiment with slime, and navigate a rainbow maze.<\/p>\n

Kids will be able to explore the planets with special space passports, collecting stamps and learning fun facts about the universe at the St Stephen\u2019s School solar system, which will have giant inflatable planets.<\/p>\n

On the main stage, performances will feature the award-winning Dinosaur Time Machine, starring a life-sized T-Rex, along with the Baby Dinosaur Show.<\/p>\n

The program also includes Supersonic Lab workshops and roving musical performances.<\/p>\n

Retiring Joondalup mayor Albert Jacob said the festival was a high-quality inclusive event that promoted learning through play, which the city had been focused on delivering.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are delighted to welcome Little Feet Festival back to Joondalup in 2025. This year\u2019s program offers a unique blend of fun, imagination and educational experiences that will captivate children and families alike,\u201d Mr Jacob said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt a time when many families are feeling the pressures of cost-of-living, providing a free event of this calibre is especially important. Little Feet Festival is a celebration of community, creativity and connection and marks the beginning of an exciting events season in our city.\u201d<\/p>\n

The free family event will take place from noon to 5pm on Sunday, October 26, at Edith Cowan University\u2019s Pines Gardens.
