Kim Kardashian just delivered a not-so-subtle dig at ex-husband Kanye West while gushing about her newfound confidence since their messy split.<\/p>\n

In a newly released French Vogue cover story, per Page Six<\/a>, the Skims mogul opened up about the \u201cexhilarating\u201d transformation she\u2019s experienced since turning 40 in October 2020 \u2014 just months before filing for divorce from the 48-year-old rapper in February 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore, I constantly needed to check with someone before making a decision,\u201d Kardashian, now 44, confessed to the outlet. \u201cCan you imagine? It\u2019s crazy to rely so much on others\u2019 opinions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though she didn\u2019t name West directly, fans know exactly who she\u2019s talking about. During their nearly seven-year marriage, Kardashian repeatedly spoke about her then-husband\u2019s controlling influence over her wardrobe choices.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always thought I had really good style \u2014 until I met my husband and he told me that I had the worst style,\u201d she once admitted to W Magazine<\/a>, even revealing that West made her cry by throwing out 250 pairs of her shoes.<\/p>\n

That drama between the exes is taking a new shape \u2014 though fashion remains at the center of it. As Globe recently reported, a source revealed that West has been \u201cranting and raving<\/a>\u201d about Kardashian letting their 12-year-old daughter, North, wear provocative outfits and get risky piercings. The source added that he\u2019s threatening to \u201craise hell with the lawyers\u201d if it doesn\u2019t stop.<\/p>\n
