TRIPLE Eight Race Engineering will reach a special milestone when the 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 gets underway.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Great Race will double as the 300th Supercars Championship round in Triple Eight\u2019s storied history.<\/p>\n

It will become the fifth team to hit the triple ton, following Dick Johnson<\/a> Racing, Walkinshaw Andretti United, Brad Jones Racing and Tickford Racing.<\/p>\n

For the Brisbane squad, that journey began with the 2003 Sandown 500 after a mid-season takeover of Briggs Motorsport.<\/p>\n

Remarkably, Triple Eight has since tallied 276 race wins \u2013 including 10 in the Bathurst 1000.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Team manager Mark Dutton was coy when asked by V8 Sleuth at The Bend if there\u2019ll be any 300th celebrations at the Mountain.<\/p>\n

\u201cWait and see,\u201d he smiled.<\/p>\n

Triple Eight will field three Camaros in its final Bathurst 1000 tilt before trading Chevrolet for Ford, with Will Brown<\/a> and Scott Pye<\/a> sharing the #1, Broc Feeney<\/a> and Jamie Whincup<\/a> in the #88, and Craig Lowndes<\/a> and Zach Bates<\/a> in the #888.<\/p>\n

It will be the final chapter of the 21-year Lowndes\/Triple Eight relationship, with the icon moving to Team 18<\/a> alongside wildcard sponsor Supercheap Auto for 2026.<\/p>\n
