Sean O\u2019Malley revealed who he\u2019d want to face in a crossover boxing match and for what kind of money.<\/p>\n

There has been a lot of talk in recent weeks about the worlds of MMA and boxing potentially colliding in some form of super fight.<\/p>\n

Ilia Topuria\u2019s callouts of Terence Crawford have been largely met with pushback<\/a> from fans and fellow fighters.<\/p>\n

Another current UFC<\/a> star that has been speaking about wanting to potentially explore this path at some point is Sean O\u2019Malley<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While O\u2019Malley currently has one eye on the UFC\u2019s event at the White House<\/a>, he was recently asked a question about stepping in the ring.<\/p>\n

Sean O\u2019Malley\u2019s latest podcast episode with his coach Tim Welch isn\u2019t the first time that he\u2019s spoken about fighting a boxing superstar.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Malley had previously called out Devin Haney<\/a> in an attempt to get a huge name to come over and fight him in MMA, which always seemed incredibly unlikely.<\/p>\n

This resulted in Haney mocking O\u2019Malley<\/a> following his submission loss to Merab Dvalishvili<\/a> at UFC 316 earlier this year.<\/p>\n

However, it wasn\u2019t \u2018The Dream\u2019 or Ryan Garcia<\/a>, who was suggested as an opponent during the podcast, that is O\u2019Malley\u2019s preferred opponent.<\/p>\n

The former UFC bantamweight champion revealed how much money would tempt him into taking this kind of fight before naming Jake Paul\u2019s<\/a> next foe as the star he\u2019d want to test himself against.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, honestly, if there was just a fast a\u2013 payday, 100%. I\u2019m thinking like $10 million but then I\u2019m like, if they said five, I\u2019d be like yeah. I don\u2019t know, it\u2019s hard to say. It would be a tough f\u2014\u2014 fight. I\u2019d rather fight Gervonta Davis<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Malley has spoken about wanting to face Davis<\/a> in the past, having called the knockout artist out while he was still a UFC champion.<\/p>\n

\u2018Suga\u2019 went on to say that he knows Davis would also be an incredibly difficult fight, he just believes that his style would be better suited against someone like \u2018Tank\u2019.<\/p>\n

Sean O\u2019Malley has recently been linked with a UFC return against a top five contender<\/p>\n

In a recent YouTube video, Sean O\u2019Malley responded to a rumor regarding his return to the Octagon.<\/p>\n

It had been suggested that \u2018Suga\u2019 was in talks to face Song Yadong<\/a> later this year, though he clarified that there hasn\u2019t been an official discussion as of yet.<\/p>\n

That being said, O\u2019Malley added that he likes the sound of this possibility, suggesting that it might end up happening.<\/p>\n

\u201cSong seems like a great next opponent, though. It makes sense. I like the matchup. It seems good.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs far as a date goes, December, January, February, f\u2014ing November, I\u2019m ready to go. I\u2019m ready to go. Call me next week, and I\u2019ll probably say that\u2019s too short notice. But I do like the match, it makes sense.\u201d<\/p>\n
