Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to be awarded the Project Healthy Minds\u2019 Humanitarians of the Year Award next month.<\/p>\n
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will head to New York City to be awarded for their advocacy on mental health at a glitzy gala on October 9.<\/p>\n
Harry and Meghan will then attend Project Healthy Minds’ fourth annual World Mental Health Day the following day.<\/p>\n
According to the organisation, Harry and Meghan will receive the award for their \u201cglobal efforts in building a safer, more equitable digital world for families and youth, and their meaningful contributions to advancing mental well-being worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Sussexes will also team up with Project Healthy Minds to co-produce a series of \u201cconversations on how people can make a difference\u201d in partnership with their Archewell Foundation.<\/p>\n
“Working with families and young people to prioritise safety online has been some of the most meaningful work of our lives,\u201d the former working royals said in a statement.<\/p>\n
“As parents ourselves, we have been moved to action by the power of their stories and are honoured to support them.<\/p>\n
“We\u2019re proud to be long-time partners of Project Healthy Minds as we work together to shine a light on what remains one of the most pressing issues of our time.”<\/p>\n
The Sussexes previously appeared on stage together during the Project Healthy Minds\u2019 World Mental Health Day Festival in 2023.<\/p>\n
Harry and Meghan have received a trophy cabinet of awards since leaving the royal family five years ago to pursue commercial ventures.<\/p>\n
Among the honours, the Sussexes have been given the Robert F.
