This can lead to symptoms like <a href=\"https:\/\/bmcgeriatr.biomedcentral.com\/articles\/10.1186\/s12877-022-03019-1\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/bmcgeriatr.biomedcentral.com\/articles\/10.1186\/s12877-022-03019-1\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"lack of strength\" data-node-id=\"24.1\" class=\"body-link css-h40fkh emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">lack of strength<\/a> and energy as well as problems with mobility. Upping your consumption can prevent this. \u201cProtein powers antibodies, enzymes, and immune cells that help you fight off illness and stay strong,\u201d says Blatner.<\/p>\n<p>The bottom line <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"30\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Not eating enough protein can cause a whole host of health problems\u2013but the problem is easy to fix.  Protein-rich foods are delicious and simple to work into your day.
