\n\tJudas Priest<\/a> and Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> trade lyrics about power and exploitation on their newly released duet of Black Sabbath<\/a>\u2018s \u201cWar Pigs.\u201d The release marks the first posthumous musical appearance from Osbourne since his death<\/a> at the age of 76 in July. \u201cIt\u2019s the first ever time in my entire life that I\u2019ve been able to do a duet with Ozzy, and I\u2019m so eternally grateful and blessed that I was able to do that,\u201d frontman Rob Halford shared during a recent appearance<\/a> on the Full Metal Jackie podcast.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cOzzy\u2019s singing a line and then I\u2019m singing a line, and Ozzy\u2019s singing a line and I\u2019m singing a line,\u201d Halford added. He credits his union with Osbourne to Sharon Osbourne, who was a fan of the Judas Priest version of \u201cWar Pigs,\u201d which the band occasionally performed. \u201cIs there a way we can get Ozzy?\u2019\u201d Halford recalled her asking. \u201cI was [like], \u2018You\u2019re asking me? This is gonna happen!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n\tWhile bittersweet that the release arrives in the wake of Osbourne\u2019s death, Judas Priest are honoring him by having proceeds from the \u201cWar Pigs\u201d single benefit relevant charity organizations. The Glenn Tipton Parkinson\u2019s Foundation and Cure Parkinson\u2019s will both receive donations. <\/p>\n \n\tOsbourne revealed his Parkinson\u2019s disease diagnosis in 2020. \u201cI got a numbness down this arm from the surgery; my legs keep going cold,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cI don\u2019t know if that\u2019s the Parkinson\u2019s or what, you know, but that\u2019s \u2014 see, that\u2019s the problem. Because they cut nerves when they did the surgery. I\u2019d never heard of nerve pain, and it\u2019s a weird feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tSharon helped him explain the condition, noting, \u201cThere\u2019s so many different types of Parkinson\u2019s. It\u2019s not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination, but it does affect certain nerves in your body. It\u2019s like you have a good day, a good day, and then a really bad day.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tOsbourne added, \u201cI feel better now that I\u2019ve owned up to the fact that I have a case of Parkinson\u2019s.
