Christine Brown is sharing the reality of her weight loss journey.<\/p>\n

The Sister Wives<\/a> star revealed she shed 40 pounds as she posted side-by-side photos of herself before and after her body transformation.<\/p>\n

And while she denied using injectable weight loss drugs to achieve her fitness goals, she offered her support to those who opted to go that route.<\/p>\n

\u201cWeight loss shots are helping so many women make progress,\u201d she wrote in a post on Instagram<\/a> Sept. 24, \u201cand I am all for it!\u201d<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, the 53-year-old\u2014who ended her polygamous marriage to Kody Brown in 2021\u2014cautioned her followers about potential \u201csetbacks\u201d that could occur while using the injectables, including \u201csluggish\u201d digestion and low energy.<\/p>\n

Christine\u2019s appearance isn\u2019t the only thing she\u2019s gotten candid about recently. In her new memoir Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family, and Finding Freedom, she revealed a complex dynamic<\/a> with her former sister wife Meri Brown, with the latter often criticizing her weight, intelligence and parenting style.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn’t trust that she would be kind to me, particularly in front of other people,\u201d Christine wrote in the book, released earlier this month. \u201cShe said demeaning things about me when she was with her family\u2014in front of me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additionally, Christine accused Meri, 54, of holding her and Janelle Brown to higher degrees of scrutiny than the ones she had for herself. (Kody\u2019s plural marriages to Meri and Janelle, 56, have also ended, though he remains married to wife Robyn Brown.)<\/p>\n

\u201cEven as she had an abundance of rules for us to follow about folding towels or whatever,\u201d Christine continued, \u201cshe played her country music so loud that we could hear it throughout the house. It didn’t matter if a baby was napping, or if Janelle or I were trying to catch up on sleep or spending quiet time with a kid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ultimately, Christine admitted that a large contributor to the tension between herself and her fellow sister wives came down to their close proximity during the arrangement.<\/p>\n

\u201cNone of us would have chosen to be best friends,\u201d she conceded. \u201cAnd if we had, the little things that drove us nuts about each other wouldn’t have mattered if we didn’t spend so much time together.\u201d<\/p>\n

“She looked like a soccer mom,” Kody Brown<\/a> once joked on Sister Wives<\/a> of meeting then-single mom Robyn in 2009. “She had a van, three kids and was divorced. I thought, ‘I didn’t need a van, a divorced woman, and three kids in my life\u2014that’s just trouble.'”<\/p>\n

More than a decade and a half on, though, they’re still kicking it, with the pair adding son Solomon and daughter Ariella to the squad.<\/p>\n

As for bringing on other teammates, it’s not in the game plan. “I really, really struggle with it because it feels, like, ‘Oh, well. Those didn’t work. So, on to [someone] new,'” Robyn said on the December 2024 Sister Wives: One on One special of Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Christine Brown leaving the fold. “That’s hard for me. That’s really, really hard for me. It feels disrespectful.”<\/p>\n

In January 2024, a year after she and Kody announced their breakup, Meri revealed on Instagram that she had begun dating Amos Andrews the previous October. But in February 2024, Meri confirmed on Instagram<\/a> that they had called it quits.<\/p>\n

She got the man<\/a> and the family. Going official with her<\/a> and David Woolley<\/a>‘s romance on Valentine’s Day 2023, Christine shared, “I finally found the love of my life, David. The first time he held me close, it felt like my soul took its first breath. He’s wonderful and kind, incredible with my children and an adorable grandpa. I never dreamed I could find a love like this.”<\/p>\n

Two months later he added to the fantasy with a spring proposal<\/a>. “David treats me like a queen and tells me I’m beautiful everyday,” Christine told People<\/a>. “I’ve never been in love like this before and the world seems like a brighter place with him in it.”<\/p>\n

Tying the knot<\/a> in Utah on Oct. 7, 2023, she wrote<\/a>, “I’m so blessed! I’ve married my best friend.”<\/p>\n

The first of the 18 Brown children to walk down the aisle, Janelle’s eldest daughter wed Caleb Brush<\/a> at a 2016 outdoor wedding in Montana captured by TLC’s cameras. Nearly 10 years later, the two have multiplied their love with Emilia joining older siblings Axel, Evie<\/a> and Josephine in March 2025. <\/p>\n

\u201cOur sweet girl took her time, keeping us all in suspense, but when she decided it was time\u2014she didn\u2019t waste a second,” North Carolina-based Maddie wrote on Instagram. “Born on 3\/14, she arrived absolutely perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n

Four years after their engagement aired on the TLC reality show, Meri’s only child settled in Denver with Audrey Kriss.<\/p>\n

Aspyn announced her pregnancy with the couple’s first baby in April 2025.<\/p>\n

Before hitting their one-year anniversary, Christine’s third oldest daughter and love Beatriz Queiroz went to the happiest place on earth<\/a> and marked six months together<\/a> with chocolate fondue. Then came the really sweet part, with Gwendlyn sharing a glimpse at the candlelit, rose-filled proposal on Instagram in November 2022, writing simply<\/a>, “i’m engaged!!” <\/p>\n

The couple wed in July 2023<\/a>, captioning a photo from the ceremony: “Say hello to mrs (x2) queiroz.”<\/p>\n
