Leeds United\u2019s<\/a> hopes of kicking West Ham<\/a> while they\u2019re down won\u2019t be helped next month if Graham Potter loses his job, as many expect.<\/p>\n

At the bottom end of the table, the pressure is always on the managers to turn things around and get the side away from trouble.<\/p>\n

That is much more a pertinent worry for the established Premier League sides this season, as the three promoted clubs continue to impress and get results. That worry is becoming worryingly real for West Ham and Graham Potter.<\/p>\n

Up next for the Irons are two tough fixtures away at Everton and away at Arsenal, which Jamie Carragher believes could be the end of the road for Potter.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe could lose his job, and I think the next two games are away at Everton and then Arsenal. So, it\u2019s tough,\u201d Carragher said on The Overlap\u2019s Stick to Football<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo tough games if you\u2019re the manager. Then the international break. I\u2019d be very surprised if Graham Potter\u2019s the manager after the next two games. In fact, I\u2019d just change him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both Ian Wright and Gary Neville were in agreement that matters look bleak for Potter in the Irons dugout.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt just doesn\u2019t feel like anything\u2019s gonna get better. Every week I\u2019m looking at West Ham thinking, \u2018hopefully he [Potter] can do it for his sake to get a little bit of momentum\u2019,\u201d Wright responded.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd if the owners are under pressure also, it\u2019s usually the thing that they do to relieve the pressure is [sack] the manager. That\u2019s the oldest trick in the book,\u201d Neville finished.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

After that October international break, West Ham then play Brentford at home before travelling to Elland Road on the 24th.<\/p>\n

West Ham expected to ditch Graham Potter ahead of Leeds United clash next month<\/p>\n

It should come as no shock if West Ham decide to get rid of Potter in the coming weeks. They have been turgid so far.<\/p>\n

Potter, in my opinion, is someone I don\u2019t want to give up on in terms of Premier League credentials. That said, it\u2019s simply not working for him.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s taken West Ham so far backwards to the point where their fans are worrying about relegation. That\u2019s shocking when you look at the players in their squad.<\/p>\n
