And then there were three.<\/p>\n

The Melbourne Storm have punched their ticket to an 11th grand final in 20 years and now await their partner for the big dance at Accor Stadium.<\/p>\n

With Cameron Munster majestic and Jahrome Hughes all class in his comeback, the Storm outlasted a gutsy Sharks outfit to give themselves a shot at making amends for last year’s grand final defeat to the Panthers.<\/p>\n

And it could well be the Panthers they meet again on October 5, with the\u00a0dream of a remarkable five-peat well and truly alive heading into Sunday’s preliminary final blockbuster against the Broncos.<\/p>\n

With Nathan Cleary, Isaah Yeo and Brian To’o at their inspirational best, the Panthers have an undeniable chance of becoming the first team to win the premiership from outside the top four.<\/p>\n

If Ivan Cleary’s men can go all the way they’ll become the first side since the all-conquering St George side of the 50s and 60s to win five straight titles.<\/p>\n

Match deciders: Walsh v Cleary<\/p>\n

The Broncos welcome back Adam Reynolds and Ezra Mam<\/a> from hamstring injuries as they look to stop the Panthers juggernaut and give themselves a shot at their first premiership since 2006.<\/p>\n

Reynolds and Cleary are the conductors and will look to control the tempo and get their team into field position for the magic men Reece Walsh, Kotoni Staggs, Blaize Talagi and Brian To’o to do their stuff.<\/p>\n

With the house full sign going up at Suncorp Stadium early in the week the stage is set for an epic showdown to decide who moves on to face the Storm.<\/p>\n

All matches in Finals Week Three will be broadcast live on the Nine Network, Fox League, Kayo Sports, 9NOW and Sky NZ.<\/p>\n
