Dick Van Dyke<\/a> may be staring down his 100th birthday but that’s not stopping him from keeping in shape.<\/p>\n

Australian singer Rick Springfield<\/a>, 76, recently bumped into the 99\ufeff-year-old Emmy winner<\/a> at the gym and was impressed by his agility.<\/p>\n

“\ufeffFilming an episode of Men’s Health and I went to the gym and who should be there but 99-year-old Dick Van Dyke working out on every machine,” Springfield revealed sharing a snap the pair took together to Instagram.<\/p>\n

“Dick has lived in Malibu for about 30 years and is an awesome human being,” he continued.<\/p>\n

“I thought I was doing well at 76, but Dick got up from the chest press machine and did a little dance step before I left! Amazing!”<\/p>\n

In the photo shared by Springfield, the two stars sit by a gym machine flexing their biceps as they pose for the camera. \ufeff<\/p>\n

The \ufeffalmost-centenarian has remained conscious of his health throughout his life, keeping exercise as a main priority.<\/p>\n

In an interview on the Where Everybody Knows Your Name podcast earlier this year, Van Dyke revealed that his secret to staying healthy lay in his commitment to movement.<\/p>\n

“To what do you attribute your age and physical condition,” he recalled being asked by someone previously.<\/p>\n

“I said, \ufeff’I’ve always exercised, three days a week’. We go to the gym still, three days a week ” he explained.<\/p>\n

“And I think that’s it.”<\/p>\n

And he wasn’t just paying lip service. It seems the actor really is committed to his workout routine.<\/p>\n

\ufeffHe’s even shared insight to his gym sessions on his official TikTok page.<\/p>\n

Last year, the actor shared a video of himself using the leg press machine in the gym to \ufeffhis 97,0000 TikTok followers.<\/p>\n

“Stay fit in the gym,” he captioned the post.<\/p>\n
