Strictly Come Dancing is waltzing its way back onto screens in 2025 bringing joy, laughter and a serious amount of dance to audiences all across the UK.<\/p>\n

Made by BBC Studios Entertainment and broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, Strictly continues to capture the hearts of the nation.<\/p>\n

Strictly Come Dancing is back on iPlayer and BBC One from 6.20pm on Saturday 4 October 2025.<\/p>\n

Tess and Claud welcome our couples back to the ballroom, where they perform brand new routines.<\/p>\n

Whilst they\u2019ll all be aiming for good scores from the Judges, they\u2019re hoping to impress you at home too. At the end of the show, the public vote will open for the very first time this series. Who will you be backing?<\/p>\n

The confirmed Strictly Come Dancing 2025 celebrity contestants are:<\/p>\n

Game of Thrones star and DJ Kristian Nairn<\/a>\u00a0was originally announced as part of the line-up but had to withdraw for medical reasons<\/a>.<\/p>\n

TV personality, broadcaster and author Dani Dyer<\/a>\u00a0was forced to withdraw due to injury<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Strictly Come Dancing 2025 Professional Dancers<\/p>\n

Professional Dancers Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Alja\u017e \u0160korjanec, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Vito Coppola will all take to the floor once more, alongside two brand new professional dancers!<\/p>\n

Who are the new Strictly Professional Dancers?<\/p>\n

\"Alexis<\/p>\n

Alexis Warr and Julian Caillon are your new Strictly pro dancers!<\/p>\n

American-born Alexis is best known for winning US dance series So You Think You Can Dance in 2022 and was crowned as \u2018America\u2019s Favourite Dancer\u2019, becoming the first female Ballroom and Latin dancer to claim the title. She has performed as a guest Professional Dancer and in the dance troupe on the US version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars, and has been part of the series’ accompanying US tour for the past three years. Alexis has also danced on America’s Got Talent, World of Dance, and on national tours across the States – including three with Dancing With The Stars judge Derek Hough, in addition to his Las Vegas residency.<\/p>\n

Australian-born Julian has been dancing since the age of 10, specialising in Ballroom and Latin American, and going on to represent Australia on the international stage. He appeared as a Professional Dancer on three seasons of Australia\u2019s Dancing With The Stars, has toured the globe with hit dance show Burn The Floor, and also competed on So You Think You Can Dance in Australia. Julian has a degree in Exercise Physiology from UNSW Sydney and, alongside his dance career, has worked as a Personal Trainer and Exercise Physiologist. Julian is a keen athlete, and 2025 has so far seen him complete two triathlons.<\/p>\n

As well as taking part in the competition itself, all of the Professional Dancers will be taking to the floor each week in unforgettable group routines, which alongside world class music acts, theme weeks and of course the much-anticipated annual trip to the iconic and much-loved Tower Ballroom in Blackpool, promises audiences another spectacular series of the nation\u2019s favourite dance show.<\/p>\n
