All the fixed ISPs scored similarly in the video streaming and gaming tests as well. The key gaming tests were latency, jitter, download speeds, and upload speeds.

In summary, if you want the best device connectivity, go with T-Mobile and AT&T Fiber—but make sure it works well in your area, because their performance can be region-dependent.

Disclosure: Ookla is owned by Ziff Davis, PCMag’s parent company.

            Get Our Best Stories!

Your Daily Dose of Our Top Tech News

Sign up for our What’s New Now newsletter to receive the latest news, best new products, and expert advice from the editors of PCMag.

Sign up for our What’s New Now newsletter to receive the latest news, best new products, and expert advice from the editors of PCMag.

By clicking Sign Me Up, you confirm you are 16+ and agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Thanks for signing up!

Your subscription has been confirmed.
