Boxing<\/a> great and reality TV star Tyson Fury is \u201cproud\u201d of daughter Venezuela after she got engaged at her 16th birthday party.<\/p>\n

Venezuela said \u201cyes\u201d when her 17-year-old boyfriend Noah Price popped the question over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Mum Paris Fury shared a clip of the moment on her Instagram. Venezuela was dressed in a two-piece bridal-like dress as Price, who is an aspiring boxer, got down on one knee.<\/p>\n

Despite her daughter just turning 16, Paris said she and her husband were both \u201cvery happy\u201d for her.<\/p>\n

\u201cCongratulations to Venezuela and Noah on getting engaged,\u201d Paris wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoth young but when you know, you know! Still in shock but very happy for you both.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe and your dad couldn\u2019t be prouder.\u201d<\/p>\n

Venezuela also shared a video of her engagement ring with the caption, \u201cWe are gettin married\ud83e\udd70 so happy\u2764\ufe0f\u201d.<\/p>\n

The engagement of the young couple follows a similar story to Venezuela\u2019s parents.<\/p>\n

Tyson and Paris met when they were teenagers but didn\u2019t start dating until Paris\u2019 16th birthday.<\/p>\n

They got married when Tyson was 20 and Paris was 18.<\/p>\n

They have since had seven children and starred in a Netflix show about their lives called At Home With the Furys.<\/p>\n

Venezuela\u2019s engagement announcement quickly divided fans on Instagram, with many raising questions over their ages.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo children get engaged these days?\u201d one person said in the comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis just looks so awkward and like they\u2019re both embarrassed. Which just proves they\u2019re far too young to be making such a huge commitment to each other,\u201d another wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis child is 16! Paris and Tyson you have worked so hard to give your children a better life. Let your daughter see the world not tie herself down to a boy! Madness,\u201d another said.<\/p>\n

But while there were plenty of negative comments, people came out to support the happy couple, noting that it\u2019s quite common in the Traveller community to marry young.<\/p>\n

Both Tyson and Paris were born to Irish Travellers.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor everyone saying she\u2019s too young \u2014 Paris got with Tyson at her 16th birthday and they\u2019re still here happily married with a lovely little family 18 years later \u2026.don\u2019t be haters,\u201d one person said.<\/p>\n

If I had a 16-year-old and had to choose between her settling down with her soulmate or ambling about every weekend taking up with different guys, I know what I\u2019d choose! Now she has two protectors looking out for her xx,\u201d another said.<\/p>\n

Tyson Fury, who is a former world heavyweight champion, has hinted at a return to the ring next year.<\/p>\n

He retired from professional boxing in January this year after losing a title fight to Oleksandr Usyk the previous month.<\/p>\n

But he has teased a rematch against Usyk, loosely slated for next April.<\/p>\n

Fury holds a 34-2-1 professional record, with his only two losses coming against Usyk.<\/p>\n
