Gomez posted on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DPH6AbikoLG\/?img_index=13\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram<\/a> to commemorate the day, sharing polaroids and film footage from the wedding. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tGomez and Blanco first met when the former \u201cWizards of Waverly Place\u201d star was around 17 years old. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.interviewmagazine.com\/music\/benny-blanco-and-selena-gomez-against-the-world\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Gomez\u2019s mother set up a meeting between the two<\/a> to help her daughter with her then-budding music career. They became fast friends and went on to collaborate on several projects together. Blanco produced two tracks on Gomez\u2019s 2015 album \u201cRevival,\u201d and Gomez was later featured on Blanco\u2019s 2019 release. The pair collaborated again in 2023 on Gomez\u2019s song \u201cSingle Soon.\u201d They began dating the same year, and by December 2024, Gomez and Blanco were engaged.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIn March, Blanco and Gomez\u2019s collaborative history reached new heights with the release of their j<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2025\/music\/news\/selena-gomez-benny-blanco-release-i-said-i-love-you-first-1236336891\/\">oint 14-song album \u201cI Said I Love You First.\u201d<\/a> Ahead of the album\u2019s debut, Spotify released a 33-minute one-on-one conversation between the couple, in which they went behind the scenes on their writing process.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cWe\u2019d get up in the morning and have a conversation.
