One of tennis\u2019 biggest hotheads Daniil Medvedev admitted the sport \u201cdrives me crazy\u201d following his latest outburst on the court.<\/p>\n
The Russian\u2019s on-court behaviour was put under the microscope again during the US Open when he berated the umpire after a photographer walked onto the court.<\/p>\n
Medvedev went on to lose the first-round clash against Benjamin Bonzi and now, after the tempers have cooled, Medvedev said the sport just gets to him.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe thing about tennis, what is beautiful about the sport, what is the toughest thing, and sorry, I go a bit far, I act a little bit crazy on the court sometimes,\u201d he said during the China Open.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo many amateur people come to me in France or in Monaco. They go \u2018Look, I\u2019m like you, I\u2019m calm. When I\u2019m in life, I am calm. On the road, I\u2019m calm. Whatever. I argue with my wife, I\u2019m calm. They say, I go play tennis and I go nuts, I go crazy.\u2019<\/p>\n
