{"id":176259,"date":"2025-09-28T23:44:07","date_gmt":"2025-09-28T23:44:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/176259\/"},"modified":"2025-09-28T23:44:07","modified_gmt":"2025-09-28T23:44:07","slug":"ufc-star-paddy-pimblett-joins-zac-efron-in-wild-cameo-for-new-battlefield-trailer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/176259\/","title":{"rendered":"UFC star Paddy Pimblett joins Zac Efron in wild cameo for new &#8216;Battlefield&#8217; trailer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Paddy Pimblett made an explosive appearance in the newest trailer for \u2018Battlefield 6\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Who would have thought the #7-ranked UFC lightweight contender would be involved in a video game franchise as massive as \u2018Battlefield\u2019 after <a href=\"https:\/\/bloodyelbow.com\/2025\/04\/13\/paddy-pimblett-vs-michael-chandler-ufc-314-result-the-baddy-scores-vicious-ko-in-bloody-co-main-event\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">his latest stoppage win over Michael Chandler at UFC 314<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve seen other <a href=\"https:\/\/bloodyelbow.com\/tag\/ufc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">UFC<\/a> fighters in video games before, like Irish superstar <a href=\"https:\/\/bloodyelbow.com\/tag\/conor-mcgregor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Conor McGregor<\/a> in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (2016).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bloodyelbow.com\/tag\/paddy-pimblett\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Paddy Pimblett<\/a>, one of the UK\u2019s biggest stars, was featured in the official launch live-action trailer for \u2018Battlefield 6\u2019, which comes out on Oct. 10.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1414\" loading=\"lazy\"  data-id=\"251178\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/GettyImages-2163996207-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Paddy Pimblett stares down his opponent at UFC 304\" class=\"wp-image-251178\" \/>Photo by Chris Unger\/Zuffa LLC via Getty ImagesPaddy Pimblett and Zac Efron get blown up in \u2018Battlefield 6\u2019 trailer<\/p>\n<p>Pimblett joined Hollywood actor Zac Efron (The Iron Claw), NBA star Jimmy Butler, and country singer Morgan Wallen in the beginning of the video game trailer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShowtime,\u201d Efron said to his squad as they got out of a military vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Pimblett was labeled as \u2018recon\u2019, and the UFC star held on to an assault rifle with his nickname \u2018Paddy The Baddy\u2019 on it along with his birth year, 1995.<\/p>\n<p>Pimblett and his team of stars made the walk right before they met an unfortunate end.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOkay boys, we\u2019re here to do one thing, one thing\u2014\u201d Efron said right as his squad was blown up an enemy projectile.<\/p>\n<p>Then, another squad of soldiers walked over where Pimblett was standing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho was that?\u201d one of the soldiers said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoesn\u2019t matter.
