{"id":177183,"date":"2025-09-29T09:12:12","date_gmt":"2025-09-29T09:12:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/177183\/"},"modified":"2025-09-29T09:12:12","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T09:12:12","slug":"mayer-returns-to-premiair-mentors-next-gen-trailblazers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/177183\/","title":{"rendered":"Mayer returns to PremiAir, mentors next-gen trailblazers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ROMY Mayer has made a welcome return to the workshop floor at PremiAir Racing and is not wasting any time in asserting a positive influence.<\/p>\n<p>Mayer, who has missed the bulk of this Supercars season on maternity leave after giving birth to her second child, quietly returned to work last month on a three-days-a-week basis.<\/p>\n<p>On top of her work behind the scenes amid PremiAir\u2019s preparations for the Repco Bathurst 1000, Mayer is this week taking high school students Grace Fong (Year 12) and Tiffany Ferguson (Year 11) under her wing as part of a partnership with the St Hilda\u2019s Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have been extensively engaged in back-end work with our simulation software and engineering and strategy tools, providing support to the engineering team as we entering the endurance rounds,\u201d said Mayer, who race engineered <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-1192-James-Golding\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">James Golding<\/a> to a series of successes last year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/superstore.v8sleuth.com.au\/products\/2025-repco-bathurst-1000-official-program?utm_source=SRBuyButton&amp;utm_medium=website\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/1756681331_142_2025-repco-bathurst-1000-program_1024x1024.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is considerably more involved compared to the sprint rounds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the school holidays underway, we are delighted to welcome the students from St Hilda\u2019s.
