Julia Fox recently sat down for an interview, promoting her latest film, HIM. During the discussion, the interviewer pointed out how girlfriends and wives of high-profile sports players garnered flak if the players underperformed or suffered losses in games \u2014 even if they had nothing to do with it.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know, like if a guy loses a game, it\u2019s like a girl\u2019s fault,\u201d the Uncut Gems actress told Pedestrian TV. \u201cIt\u2019s like his girlfriend\u2019s fault, or like it\u2019s just like crazy and all the superstitions and all the irrational a** s**t that these men believe, that ultimately leads to a woman being blamed.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Night Always Comes star recalled how Travis Kelce once lost a game, which led to people claiming it was Taylor Swift\u2019s fault. \u201cIt was just like what? Like that\u2019s crazy,\u201d she added. \u201cBut you know, blame women. They love to do that.\u201d Fox quipped, \u201cI didn\u2019t know we were so powerful.
