Two-time SANFL premiership coach Darren Reeves will join Port Adelaide ahead of the 2026 season as an assistant coach.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Reeves brings exceptional credentials to Alberton, having guided Glenelg to back-to-back SANFL premierships in 2023 and 2024, during his first two seasons as senior coach.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Under his leadership, the Tigers also reached a third consecutive grand final in 2025.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The appointment further strengthens Josh Carr\u2019s coaching structure, with Reeves taking responsibility for stoppage work, contest coaching, and opposition analysis in 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n
His coaching resume includes two successful seasons as senior assistant at North Adelaide, where he helped deliver consecutive finals campaigns, including a grand final in 2022.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Reeves\u2019 development pathway also encompasses roles with the NT Thunder and Central District\u2019s league, reserves and under 18 programs.<\/p>\n
Port Adelaide CEO Matthew Richardson welcomed Reeves to the club.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Reeves was thrilled to land at Alberton, embracing the challenge of coaching at the elite level.\u00a0<\/p>\n
