Miami wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been carted off the field after suffering a serious injury to his left leg in Monday Night Football.<\/p>\n

The injury happened on a play where Hill made a catch and got tackled near the New York Jets\u2019 sideline with 13:21 left in the third quarter.<\/p>\n

Players from both teams took a knee while Hill was tended to, and the cart was immediately brought out to help carry him off the field.<\/p>\n

An air cast appeared to be applied quickly and players from both teams were around the cart before it was driven away.<\/p>\n

He clapped and waved at the fans as he was driven off, receiving an ovation after the stadium had been hushed for several minutes following the play.<\/p>\n

Fans became convinced Hill was celebrating what could be his final game in Dolphins colours.<\/p>\n

Miami were 0-3 entering the clash with New York after missing the playoffs last season.<\/p>\n

Hill is a five-time All-NFL selection but has had a controversial career littered with off-field incidents.<\/p>\n

He won the Super Bowl with Kansas City in 2019.<\/p>\n

Hill has 11,363 receiving yards since entering the NFL in 2017, the most in the league over that span.<\/p>\n

He also has 819 catches, fourth most in the league since 2017 behind only Davante Adams (886), Travis Kelce (880) and Stefon Diggs (824).<\/p>\n

Hill\u2019s 83 touchdown catches are third most in the NFL since 2017.<\/p>\n
