{"id":179169,"date":"2025-09-30T04:25:08","date_gmt":"2025-09-30T04:25:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/179169\/"},"modified":"2025-09-30T04:25:08","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T04:25:08","slug":"beauty-centric-electrolyte-brand-slowmornings-launches-d2c","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/179169\/","title":{"rendered":"Beauty-centric Electrolyte Brand SlowMornings Launches D2C"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tSlowMornings are on the way.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tSlowMornings, a new hydration-centric brand founded by CPG veteran Nick DeAngelo and Wilhelmina <a href=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/tag\/model-2\/\" id=\"auto-tag_model-2\" data-tag=\"model-2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">model<\/a> and creator Tim Lambert, <a href=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/tag\/launches\/\" id=\"auto-tag_launches\" data-tag=\"launches\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">launches<\/a> Tuesday direct-to-consumer with its first product Hydration + Collagen Drink Mix, $49, for a pack of 30 on-the-go sticks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe Strawberry Lemonade-flavored product features marine collagen peptides, electrolytes (magnesium, potassium and sodium), vitamin C, zinc, biotin and vitamin B12 to support hydration and skin health. Those who have POTS are most often recommended to increase their intake of electrolytes, which helped DeAngelo and his sister. In an effort to create the perfect dose of electrolytes and infuse additional benefits, he found himself making his own formulas at home. At first, it was a pain \u2013 the flavor wasn\u2019t great and scooping and weighing each ingredient was tedious, but it sparked the initial idea for SlowMornings.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cThere was this moment really early in the morning when everything kind of stands still for a second, and [I thought], this could really be a thing, and I thought of Tim immediately,\u201d DeAngelo said, noting that he and Lambert had been neighbors, coworkers and surf buddies.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tWhile there are now a variety of electrolyte brands on the market, Lambert and DeAngelo decided to differentiate SlowMornings by taking a \u201csofter,\u201d more beauty-centric approach.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cWe agree that there\u2019s a lot of decent products out there, especially for certain types of things, like for athletes,\u201d DeAngelo said. \u201cWe thought, in our hypothesis, that there\u2019s a certain kind of person and a certain kind of lifestyle that the current offerings aren\u2019t suited for\u2026.We wanted something that was for every day for a person that isn\u2019t necessarily a marathon runner.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"c-lazy-image__img lrv-u-background-color-grey-lightest lrv-u-width-100p lrv-u-display-block lrv-u-height-auto\" src=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/wp-content\/themes\/vip\/pmc-wwd-2021\/assets\/public\/lazyload-fallback.gif\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Sachet-Strawberry-Lemonade.jpg\" alt=\"SlowMornings\" data-lazy- data-lazy- height=\"1024\" width=\"835\" decoding=\"async\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tSlowMornings<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCourtesy of SlowMornings<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThis softer approach was also taken with the brand\u2019s visuals. Lambert opted to shoot SlowMorning\u2019s campaign imagery for a different feel compared to the more sports-focused electrolytes on the market. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cI\u2019m super obsessed with campaigns, and I\u2019ve been been lucky to be a part of stuff with my modeling background for 10-plus years now,\u201d Lambert said. \u201cI want someone to look at a photo and be lost in it [and] create those photos that\u2019s worth 1000 words.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tWhile the team predicts its ingredient profile will allow SlowMornings to stand out, its approach to community is another key differentiator. For its <a href=\"https:\/\/wwd.com\/tag\/launch\/\" id=\"auto-tag_launch\" data-tag=\"launch\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">launch<\/a>, the brand conducted a survey of more than 500 women to discover what they would want from the brand in terms of ingredients, flavors and more. All of the feedback was combined to create the first product.
