The Australian government has welcomed the Trump administration\u2019s 20-point peace plan<\/a> for Gaza and says it leaves the door open to a two-state solution.<\/p>\n Anthony Albanese called for all parties to engage with the plan<\/a> and said that he had discussed the conflict with world leaders during his time abroad.<\/p>\n \u201cAustralia urges all parties to engage seriously with the plan and to work to bring its vision into reality without delay, together with our partners,\u201d he told reporters from Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n The US president, Donald Trump, announced the plan<\/a> alongside the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, which states Gaza would be governed by a transitional \u201capolitical\u201d committee.
