Online tennis equipment retailer Tennis Warehouse has a new partnership with tennis-focused tracking system Zenniz that will see Zenniz\u2019 artificial intelligence-powered analytics incorporated into Tennis Warehouse\u2019s product reviews, descriptions and video content.<\/p>\n
Six Tennis Warehouse \u201ctesters\u201d will be used to collect the data used in the digital content. They will do so by running on-court drills in front of Zenniz\u2019 camera-based \u201csmart court\u201d system, which includes electronic line calling, statistics and video streaming capabilities. From those drills, Zenniz will pull data that compares different racket and string configurations in metrics including shot speed, spin rate and ball placement\/trajectory — which will inform full-length racket\/string reviews on Tennis Warehouse\u2019s social media channels, plus short-form clips and product descriptions. <\/p>\n
\u201cUntil now, reviews have been based primarily on a tester\u2019s feel plus brand-provided information,\u201d Zenniz CMO Santtu Leskinen wrote to SBJ. \u201cThis new approach brings objective numbers into the mix, giving players tangible proof to either support or challenge subjective impressions. The end result is content that\u2019s not just \u2018brand message plus tester opinion,\u2019 but a data-backed evaluation that helps players make smarter gear choices.\u201d<\/p>\n
