Ten years on, Block home sells at a loss<\/a><\/p>\n Block\u2019s biggest losers<\/a><\/p>\n Alicia definitely not being snide at the body corporate meeting.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not personal. We haven\u2019t said anything negative or derogatory towards you,\u201d Alicia claims.<\/p>\n \u201cIt doesn\u2019t feel like that when you\u2019re saying really snide comments about our house,\u201d Britt replies.<\/p>\n Alicia, remarkably, then claims she\u2019s never uttered a snide comment.<\/p>\n Cue footage of Alicia snidely telling Han and Can in front of all the other contestants that the only reason they didn\u2019t win last week was because their painting was too good \u2013 a clear passive aggressive dig at Britt and Taz\u2019s poor paint job.<\/p>\n \u201cYou should have just done a s**t one coat,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Is it possible Alicia doesn\u2019t know what the word snide means?<\/p>\n Britt and Taz at the body corporate meeting.<\/p>\n Then cue footage of Sonny shouting to Han and Can that they\u2019d been robbed and that they deserved 10s. \u201cAnd it\u2019s finished,\u201d he added as he walks past Britt and Taz.<\/p>\n It\u2019s undeniably true Britt and Taz\u2019s paint work was crappy, and probably undeserving of the 10 they got from Shaynna, but it seems Sonny and Alicia think they should somehow pay for Shaynna\u2019s poor eyesight by handing back their prize money.<\/p>\n After the meeting Alicia asks Britt for a private word to try and smooth things over but continues to behave as if she is the victim of slander.<\/p>\n \u201cI will not allow you to throw me under the bus. I did nothing towards you, I\u2019m not going to cop it. I\u2019m not going to let you make me out to be a bad person,\u201d she tells Britt when Britt says she doesn\u2019t mind other people having opinions, but delivery matters.<\/p>\n \u201cWe came into this and you two were just our absolute best mates,\u201d Taz appeals \u201cBut the way you\u2019re carrying on \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n At this point Sonny at least falls on his sword, admitting that his comments were out of line.<\/p>\n \u201cI stand by what I said because I would have given the girls three tens, but I was being a dick. Simple,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n Britt having what she will later describe as the worst day of her life.<\/p>\n Britt tries to see things from Sonny and Alicia\u2019s perspective.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re trying to have a bit of empathy for why they are the way they are. They\u2019re highly stressed because they haven\u2019t won a room. Not everyone is built to deal with this sort of pressure,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n The four hug it out but it\u2019s pretty clear the friendship is over with Alicia later saying \u201cyou can just look and it\u2019s resting b***h face. She\u2019s pretty good at it\u201d.<\/p>\n Then later in the episode one of the tiling Cursio brothers comes to tell Britt that he\u2019s been refused permission to create a rock wall in their alfresco area by Alicia, despite the fact Britt and Taz locked him in for the job before the brothers signed up as Sonny and Alicia\u2019s tilers.<\/p>\n The whole thing leaves Britt flat and upset.<\/p>\n When Taz remarks that it was their worst day on The Block, Britt goes further.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was probably the worst day of my life, to be honest. It was horrible. Today really made me realise, are we going to be friends with these people when we leave? Our friends at home wouldn\u2019t do this to us, there\u2019s no way.\u201d<\/p>\n Emma\u2019s the only one with any perspective on the whole thing.<\/p>\n Emma tells Britt that she didn\u2019t support the body corporate pile-on.<\/p>\n \u201cI think it\u2019s all a bit silly and I don\u2019t agree at all. I think it would have been completely different if Britt and Taz didn\u2019t win. I think they\u2019re just salty that they won,\u201d she says of Sonny and Alicia.<\/p>\n She later heads over to tell Britt how she feels.<\/p>\n \u201cI just wanted to say I think it was really unfair what everyone did to you guys today and I didn\u2019t agree with any of it,\u201d she says to a grateful Britt.<\/p>\n MISSED AN EPISODE?
