Among the 10 contestants vying for the grand prize of $100,000 is BT Hale, a native of Cumberland County.\u00a0 He grew up in Stedman and graduated from Cape Fear High School. Hale went on to college and graduated from Campbell University and Campbell Law School. Hale is a veteran of reality show auditions, and his persistence finally paid off with this opportunity. WRAL News was able to talk with Hale about the show.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a marketing competition show kind of born from the mind of Jimmy,\u201d Hale said. \u201cAnd they bring in all these big brands, the Southwest, Dunkin Donuts [and] Sonic. These huge brands.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThey task us with a challenge, like help us with a jingle, help us wrap a plane in the Southwest case.\u00a0 All sorts of fun stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u00a0With a lot of reality shows focusing on drama, Hale says this show is not like the rest<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s definitely new,\u201d Hale said. \u201cI think it\u2019s going to be fun, it\u2019s really lighthearted. They aren\u2019t looking for the drama that you normally get in reality series.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOn Brand\u201d is generating anticipation among audiences eager to see how contestants like BT Hale will shine.<\/p>\n
The show is set to debut at 9 p.m. Monday on WRAL.
