Golden State Warriors<\/a> star Jimmy Butler<\/a> III will be a part of the live-action trailer for \u201cBattlefield 6,\u201d the upcoming Electronic Arts video game.<\/p>\n \u201cI put the team on my back. And a rocket on my shoulder. See the @battlefield Live Action Trailer starring me this Sunday,\u201d Butler wrote on Instagram.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t talk trash. I take it out,\u201d Butler says in the teaser video.<\/p>\n The trailer, as seen below, officially dropped on Sunday, September 28, featuring Butler, actor Zac Efron, UFC star Paddy Pimblett and country singer Morgan Wallen.<\/p>\n The first-person shooter will officially launch on October 10.<\/p>\n First Full Year With Warriors<\/p>\n Butler\u2019s off-court activities have not dampened his enthusiasm for the upcoming NBA<\/a> season, his first full campaign with the Warriors<\/a> after he joined the franchise during the 2025 NBA trade deadline in February. Last season, the Warriors<\/a> were 23-8 with Butler, Stephen Curry<\/a> and Draymond Green<\/a> in the lineup, and yet could not advance past the second round of the playoffs after Curry went down with a hamstring strain.<\/p>\n With a whole training camp and preseason, Butler believes the Warriors<\/a> can continue to build their chemistry and challenge for the NBA title in 2026.<\/p>\n \u201cI get to do this thing from day one,\u201d Butler told reporters on Monday, expressing excitement about the new season, via NBC Sports Bay Area.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cBe with the guys from day one and do what we started out to do from the very beginning. I\u2019m super hyped and I\u2019m super excited. I got to train with my guys this summer and talk with all the guys. I see what they have been doing and how they have been working. I\u2019m glad that I get to be here from this media day on up.\u201d<\/p>\n Back to All-NBA Level?<\/p>\n Butler helped the Miami Heat<\/a> reach two NBA Finals in 2020 and 2023, but he left the franchise on bad terms, with many questioning his commitment to winning. Much of that narrative was spun from the notion that Butler doesn\u2019t take the regular-season seriously. During his six-year stint in Miami, Butler never reached the 65-game threshold, appearing in less than 60 games in four separate seasons.<\/p>\n Curry, for one, is determined to help Butler repair his image and return to an All-NBA and All-Star level with the Warriors<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI think first it helps him just as a human being, as a player, to have something that he knows, a situation he knows based on how last year ended and how we do things, what he can help, continue to help us do at a high level, but then just have that clarity coming in where we can have the conversations that we were having in a very short span after the trade last year,\u201d Curry said of Butler.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd the way that we finished playing, or our record towards the end of the year, it was fun for all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite finishing the 2024-25 season on a high note, the Warriors<\/a> are not viewed as NBA title contenders by oddsmakers.
