The Valley<\/a>\u2019s Brittany Cartwright<\/a> is beyond grateful to have someone to lean on as she continues to take on new challenges, especially during her career-related obstacles.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The mom of one touched on her recent exit<\/a> from Special Forces: World\u2019s Toughest Test<\/a> during the Sept. 29 episode of Access Hollywood\u2019s Housewives Nightcap podcast<\/a>, and admitted that walking away on the first episode of the rigorous competition series was \u201creally hard,\u201d but her new man\u00a0Brandon Hanson<\/a> \u2014 whom she previously stated is \u201cnot technically\u201d her boyfriend \u2014 has been “very supportive.”<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just kind of laugh about it because I feel like almost every day, there\u2019s something random about me in the news, or people saying something mean about me,\u201d Brittany said. \u201cIt\u2019s something that he is having to realize, [that] this is part of my life and my lifestyle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thankfully, living in the public eye hasn\u2019t dissuaded Brandon from lending his support. The Kentucky-raised Bravoleb doubled down, noting, \u201cHe\u2019s extremely supportive.\u201d<\/p>\n

What’s more, while Brittany admitted that she didn\u2019t do \u201cgreat” on the show, she counted herself thankful for the \u201camazing experience.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brittany and the single dad met long before her time on Vanderpump Rules<\/a>. As she told\u00a0TMZ<\/a>, \u201cWe\u2019ve known each other for 15 years \u2026 I met him back in Kentucky. Long time ago.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, in spite of\u00a0Kristen Doute intimating otherwise<\/a>, as well as Brittany and Brandon’s\u00a0\u201cbreezy\u201d outings together<\/a>\u00a0and romantic Mexican getaway<\/a>,\u00a0the two are not official \u2026 yet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brittany clarified their situationship in a Sept. 9\u00a0interview<\/a>, stating, \u201cEvery single time somebody catches me with a new guy, he’s my boyfriend instantly \u2014 [but] I’m not in a relationship yet \u2026I\u00a0am\u00a0dating, and he’s a great guy. So, we’ll see where he goes.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brittany disclosed the reasons behind her departure from the show, which has Bravolebs The Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/a>‘s Teresa Giudice<\/a>, her daughter Gia Giudice<\/a> of Next Gen NYC<\/a>, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/a>‘s Eva Marcille<\/a>, still in the game. The Valley cast member cited the food, heat, and being away from her and Jax\u2019s son, 4-year-old Cruz Michael Cauchi<\/a>, as factors in her decision.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBut for me, it was [that] I had never left my son that long\u2026 You\u2019re by yourself there,\u201d she told \u00a0Us Weekly<\/a>. \u201cSo that was really difficult for me, because I\u2019ve never ever been gone from Cruz more than two or three days on a work trip. And if it\u2019s [longer], he travels with me. So that was definitely the longest time I\u2019d ever been away from him. That was really hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brittany Cartwright responds to Jax Taylor’s criticism<\/p>\n

Brittany said her short-lived appearance on the series affirmed what ex-husband\u00a0Jax Taylor<\/a>\u00a0allegedly said before she joined: that she was \u201cnot gonna make it far,\u201d according to\u00a0People<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As Brittany explained on the recent podcast episode, \u201cI think [at] the time of my life and dealing with all the other stuff I was going through, and him writing me those messages and everything else, it did not help me at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jax reportedly expressed interest in participating in the show, where celebs and Bravolebs endure military-style exercises in unfavorable conditions. \u201cI would love to see him try,\u201d Brittany said.<\/p>\n

She further explained in her chat with\u00a0Extra<\/a>, \u201cIt\u2019s Jax, so always difficult \u2026 It\u2019s always gonna be a challenge, but Cruz is the most important thing to both of us.\u201d<\/p>\n
