The official start of the 2025 Free Agency and Trade Period has begun, with plenty of stars of the competition set to join rival clubs.<\/p>\n

Here is every move for the first day of the Trade and Free Agency period…<\/p>\n

North Melbourne lodge paperwork for premiership Demon<\/p>\n

North Melbourne will land Melbourne premiership player Charlie Spargo<\/a> as an unrestricted free agent.<\/p>\n

Spargo played 108 games for the Demons, but has struggled to remain on the park since the flag, playing 25 matches in three seasons.<\/p>\n

His father, Paul, played 81 games for the Kangaroos.<\/p>\n

Charlie Spargo will be a Kangaroo today after free agency paperwork was lodged for his move from Melbourne to North Melbourne.<\/p>\n

Geelong lodge paperwork for Hawk<\/p>\n

Geelong has lodged paperwork for restricted free agent James Worpel<\/a>, while Hawthorn will have the three days to match the bid.<\/p>\n

Worpel has played 148 games for the Hawks, and has long been tipped to return down the highway where he played his junior football.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old was the Geelong Falcons captain.<\/p>\n

Power lodge paperwork for Giant<\/p>\n

GWS midfielder Jacob Wehr<\/a> will be on his way to Alberton after paperwork was lodged.<\/p>\n

Wehr was an unrestricted free agent, meaning the Giants do not have the ability to match the Power bid.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old played 39 games across four seasons.<\/p>\n

St Kilda lodge paperwork for Carlton pair<\/p>\n

The Saints are set to land Blues duo Tom De Koning<\/a> and Jack Silvagni<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The free agency window has just opened and the paperwork for St Kilda signings Tom De Koning and Jack Silvagni has been submitted.<\/p>\n

Carlton will be unable to match St Kilda’s bid for Silvagni, given he is an unrestricted free agent.<\/p>\n

He will reunite with his father and St Kilda list manager Stephen Silvagni. The third-generation Silvagni played 128 games in the navy blue.<\/p>\n

However, the Blues, have the opportunity to match De Koning’s bid as he is a restricted free agent, but will not.<\/p>\n

He played his 100th game for Carlton in the final round of the 2025 season.<\/p>\n
