When the UFC brings a sub-par offering to the table, I try to hold their feet to the fire. An event like UFC 320 is a reminder of what the combat sports leader is capable of when they put their best foot forward. We have a two-fight title bill with the light heavyweight championship and the bantamweight championship being defended. We also have a top contender\u2019s bout in the light heavyweight division, a top-10 matchup in the featherweight division, and a fight between streaking middleweights that could earn the winner a ranking. Outside of the main card, we have a stacked preliminary card featuring ranked talents as well as serious prospects.<\/p>\n

Veronica Hardy (4-5 UFC) is 3-1 in the UFC since 2023, and she has looked career best over that four-fight sample. Formerly known as Veronica Macedo, the Venezuelan fighter has had a radical improvement of form since aligning herself with her husband and former UFC welterweight title challenger Dan Hardy (6-4 UFC). Hardy lost her most recent outing against Eduarda Moura (3-1 UFC), but Moura is now 2-0 as a UFC flyweight, and she is ranked #13 in the world.<\/p>\n

Brogan Walker (0-2 UFC) has not yet won a UFC fight, and she has not competed since April of 2023 when she lost a unanimous decision against Iasmin Lucindo (5-2 UFC). Her only other UFC appearance was in August of 2022 when she suffered a defeat via TKO3 against Juliana Miller (2-2 UFC) in the TUF Finale. Walker has dealt with a surgical reconstruction of her knee in her time out of the octagon, but she did receive her BJJ blackbelt on a positive note.<\/p>\n

Hardy should be the superior striker in this matchup, she is 7 years younger, and she wasn\u2019t submitted against a more physical and more credentialed Eduarda Moura in her last fight, so it is hard to imagine how Brogan Walker would cleanly win this fight. Her best path to victory is outlasting Hardy and trying to eke out a close decision.<\/p>\n
