The time has almost come for our next Critical Role adventure. We\u2019re not just talking about Critical Role Campaign 4<\/a>, although we are very excited for that; we\u2019re talking about a new animated series from Critical Role, Titmouse, and Prime Video\u2014The Mighty Nein. Based on Critical Role\u2018s Campaign 2<\/a>, The Mighty Nein series \u201cfollows a group of fugitives and outcasts, bound by secrets and scars. But when a powerful arcane relic known as \u2018The Beacon\u2019 falls into dangerous hands, they must learn to work together to save the realm and stop reality itself from unraveling.\u201d The Mighty Nein will come our way in November, but in the meantime, Prime Video has officially revealed a slew of first-look images and tantalizing character descriptions to get us ready for more Critical Role fun to come. <\/p>\n

Role for an embarrassment of riches. We are obsessed with these first-look images of The Mighty Nein which showcases many of the characters we\u2019ll see come to life in the series. That includes everyone from Ming-Na Wen\u2019s Dairon to Alan Cumming\u2019s Gustav Fletching to Tim McGraw\u2019s Vandran and more. Of course, we\u2019ll also see familiar Critical Role faces in The Mighty Nein. Those include: Talisen Jaffe as \u201cMolly,\u201d\u00a0 Liam O\u2019Brien as \u201cCaleb,\u201d\u00a0 Marisha Ray as \u201cBeau,\u201d Laura Bailey as \u201cJester,\u201d Travis Willingham as \u201cFjord,\u201d and Sam Riegel as \u201cNott the Brave.\u201d That\u2019s a lot to look forward to.<\/p>\n

But who are these The Mighty Nein characters that we\u2019re getting to meet in these first-look images? Well, they don\u2019t just look good\u2014they\u2019ve got sparkling personalities to go along with their gorgeous artwork and cool voice actors. Here\u2019s what Prime Video shares about Ming-Na Wen as \u201cDairon,\u201d Anika Noni Rose as \u201cMarion,\u201d Alan Cumming as \u201cGustav Fletching,\u201d Tim McGraw as \u201cVandran,\u201d Mark Strong as \u201cTrent Ikithon,\u201dand Auli\u2019i Cravalho as \u201cToya\u201d in The Mighty Nein.<\/p>\n

Dairon:\u00a0Dairon is an Expositor, a secret agent monk of the Cobalt Soul and martial arts expert. Direct and blunt, she becomes Beau\u2019s mentor and deepest source of intel.<\/p>\n

Marion:\u00a0Marion Lavorre, also known as the Ruby of the Sea, is an upscale courtesan and performer at the Lavish Chateau in Nicodranas. As Jester\u2019s mother, she is warm and loving, but also overprotective and untrusting of the outside world.<\/p>\n

Gustav Fletching:\u00a0Circus ringmaster, Gustav Fletching, is the eccentric and beloved host of the Fletching and Moondrop Traveling Carnival of Curiosities. He has given a plethora of misfits and malcontents a home at the carnival, like his dear friend Mollymauk.<\/p>\n

Vandran:\u00a0Vandran is a stalwart, confident sea captain and father figure to Fjord in The Mighty Nein. Commanding and firm, but understanding and nurturing when needed, he takes Fjord under his wing and teaches him how to be a true leader.<\/p>\n

Trent Ikithon:\u00a0Trent Ikithon is the Archmage of Civil Influence for the Cerberus Assembly and Caleb\u2019s former manipulative school teacher. Secretly, Ikithon is the head of the Volstrucker, a team of elite wizard assassins that operate under the Empire.<\/p>\n

Toya:\u00a0Toya the Vivid Voice is a dramatic 13-year-old performer and tamer of Kylre, a ferocious Devil Toad. With the help of lumino beetles and the sound of her haunting voice, Kylre is precariously under her charm.

Okay, we just know that Tim McGraw is going to crush his Critical Role debut. And we\u2019re more than a little excited to see what Alan Cumming\u2019s eccentric ringmaster will bring to the table. The Mighty Nein could not debut quicker, if you ask us. <\/p>\n

When Does The Mighty Nein Release?<\/p>\n

But just when will The Mighty Nein arrive onto our screens? The Mighty Nein will release on November 19.
