Not only that, but 1% FPS lows are more exaggerated over Thunderbolt 5, arguably leading to a less fluid gameplay experience, too.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Overall, while Thunderbolt 5 closes the gap to OCuLink, it has a way to go before matching the bandwidth the latter delivers. With that being said, OCuLink remains an imperfect eGPU solution as well, with performance drops from a desktop system, cable incompatibilities and the lack of hotswapping, among other issues.
