Israeli talents set to make NBA debut amidst war in Gazi<\/p>\n

This Saturday, the Brooklyn Nets’ preseason opener will feature them squaring off against Hapoel Jerusalem B.C. at the Barclays Center. The Nets’ roster includes Israeli stars Danny Wolf and Ben Saraf, who are likely to draw attention, positive or negative. However, Wolf and Saraf are looking to avoid all distractions and put their focus on a huge opportunity in sight.When asked about the same question from the Post, Danny Wolf replied, \u201cYeah, I mean, that\u2019s all it\u2019s about. It\u2019s keeping the main thing, the main thing. I only can control what I can control, and I don\u2019t have any say or thought as to really what\u2019s going to happen outside of the game. And I\u2019ll leave that to be, and I\u2019ll just focus on the game as best I can.\u201dAt the same time, a source close to the Brooklyn Nets told the Post that they were ready with all security measures in case such a situation arose. They said, \u201cWe do expect some. We\u2019re approaching the game like any other preseason event, but are prepared for any disruptions.\u201dBen Saraf was born in South Africa but grew up in Israel, while Danny Wolf currently holds both Israeli and United States passports. They have no military backgrounds and have solely focused on making it big in the NBA. The duo has already managed to impress the basketball world, as they are set to debut at a very young age of 19 (Saraf) and 21 (Wolf). Moreover, it will be the second time that the city of Brooklyn, New York, has hosted a team from Israel in the last three years.
