The pop superstar, 35, is set to appear as the sole guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers for a full episode “TAY\/kover” on Wednesday, Oct. 8 to promote her new album, The Life of a Showgirl.<\/p>\n
Meyers, 51, made the announcement via social media<\/a> on Sept. 29. He shared a video of himself wearing an orange cardigan from Swift’s merchandise store while drinking from a light blue mug.<\/p>\n “Oh, hey. What’s up?” asked the SNL alum in the video, setting the mug down on his desk to reveal “TAY\/kover 10.08.25” printed on it \u2014\u00a0as Swift’s “Ready for It?” started playing.<\/p>\n “Sipping coffee like you\u2019re on a late night show,” read the post’s caption, a reference to the lyrics of Swift’s “All Too Well (10 Minute Version).”<\/p>\n The Grammy winner’s Late Night appearance will come less than a week after The Life of a Showgirl comes out on Friday, Oct. 3. Upon the album’s release at midnight on Oct. 3, fans can go to Target to purchase an exclusive “The Crowd Is Your King”<\/a> record pressed on “summertime spritz pink shimmer vinyl.”<\/p>\n Starting at 3 p.m. ET the same day, fans can head to movie theaters to watch The Official Release Party of a Showgirl<\/a>, which features the world premiere of her “The Fate of Ophelia” music video as well as behind-the-scenes footage, lyric videos from the album\u00a0and “cut by cut explanations” of what inspired the music,” she previously revealed on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n The “Karma” singer will then appear on The Graham Norton Show, which airs at 5:40 p.m. ET on Oct. 3.
