She heads to Brazil and opens up against Julia Riera or Vitalia Diatchenko.

Haddad Maia will be one of the favourites though and I also see a steady week for Renata Zarazua in facing BHM in the latter stages while Ajla Tomljanovic in a smaller field is one to look out for.

Favourites:

*** Alexandra Eala

** Beatriz Haddad Maia, Renata Zarazua

* Ajla Tomljanovic, Leolia Jeanjean, Solana Sierra

Entry List Sao Paolo Open

The WTA 250 event will see the return of Filipina tennis star Alexandra Eala, who stunned the tennis community with a semifinal showing at this year’s Indian Wells event. The 20-year old shot to a career-high ranking of World No.56 in June, and will be eager to end the year on a strong note after the US Open.

Mexico’s Renata Zarazua and Argentina’s Solana Sierra round out the top five seeds at the event. Zarazua turned heads at the 2025 Cincinnati Open, where she pushed former Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina to three sets in their third round encounter.

Britain’s Francesca Jones is scheduled to compete at the event, alongside compatriot Jodie Burrage. Australian star Ajla Tomljanovic will be featured in Sao Paolo, and she will be joined by French prospect Leolia Jeanjean.

      No.
Player

    1Beatriz Haddad Maia
2Hailey Baptiste
3Alexandra Eala
4Renata Zarazua
5Solana Sierra
6Francesca Jones
7Ajla Tomljanovic
8Leolia Jeanjean
9Panna Udvardy
10Whitney Osuigwe
11Janice Tjen
12Jodie Burrage
13Louisa Chirico
14Arianne Hartono
15Julia Riera
16Linda Klimovicova
17Ana Sofia Sanchez
18Tiantsoa Rakotomanga Rajaonah
19Berfu Cengiz
20Laura Pigossi
21Elizabeth Mandlik
22Arina Rodionova
23Vitalia Diatchenko

Following the 2025 US Open, the stars of the WTA will travel to nearby Sao Paolo, Brazil for…

[565
64,63,85,747
0":"post-190425","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-tennis","8":"tag-au","9":"tag-australia","10":"tag-sports","11":"tag-tennis
["GET
