Kings 5, Ducks 4 (OT): Kevin Fiala<\/a> scored with 34 seconds left in overtime for the Los Angeles Kings, who recovered after blowing a four-goal lead in the third period to defeat the Anaheim Ducks at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Fiala won it with a one-timer from the right circle on the rush after Chris Kreider<\/a> tied it 4-4 with 49 seconds remaining in the third period on a redirection in front.<\/p>\n

It was the first goal of the preseason for Kreider, who was traded to the Ducks by the New York Rangers on June 12.<\/p>\n

Phillip Danault<\/a> had two goals and an assist, Warren Foegele<\/a> had a goal and an assist, and Quinton Byfield<\/a> also scored for the Kings, who finished the preseason 5-2-0. Darcy Kuemper<\/a> made 18 saves, and Brandt Clarke<\/a> had two assists.<\/p>\n

Leo Carlsson<\/a> had two goals and an assist in the third period, and Mikael Granlund<\/a> also had a goal and an assist in the final period of regulation for the Ducks, who went 4-2-1 during the preseason. Jackson LaCombe<\/a> had three assists and Troy Terry<\/a> had two assists. Lukas Dostal<\/a> made 26 saves.<\/p>\n

It was LaCombe\u2019s first game since signing an eight-year contract with Anaheim on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Granlund cut it to 4-1 at 10:20 of the third. It was his first goal with the Ducks since signing a three-year contract on July 1.<\/p>\n

Carlsson made it 4-2 at 12:09, skating in from the neutral zone and finishing on a wrist shot from the bottom of the right circle. He then scored again on the power play to cut it to 4-3 at 18:44 with a snap shot from the left dot.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles scored three goals in the first period to take a 3-0 lead.<\/p>\n

Byfield\u2019s power-play goal put the Kings ahead 1-0 at 4:47, a one-timer from the slot under Dostal\u2019s right arm.<\/p>\n

Danault extended it to 2-0 at 12:23, scoring off his own rebound from the right post.<\/p>\n

Foegele scored on the power play at 17:42 to make it 3-0 when he jammed in Clarke\u2019s pass through the crease after it deflected off the stick of Anaheim defenseman Drew Helleson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Danault pushed it to 4-0 at 6:52 of the third after scoring top shelf on a one-timer from the point.<\/p>\n
