NASHVILLE, Tenn. \u2013 Competing on the opposite end of Belmont Boulevard at the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center, the Belmont University women’s tennis team earned four singles victories against Missouri Valley Conference foe Murray State on the second day of the Lipscomb Hidden Duals. Redshirt freshman Savannah Webster<\/a>, graduate Cielo Tapia-Cruz<\/a>, freshman Ketevan Jeladze<\/a> and senior Libbie Hamilton<\/a> were all triumphant in singles Saturday versus the Racers. #ItsBruinTime

\nAfter defeating North Alabama’s Senem Ocal 6-2, 6-3 Friday, Jeladze improved to 2-0 on the weekend in singles with a hard-fought win over Murray State’s Rebecca Widan. Jeladze took the third-set super tiebreaker 10-2 after splitting 6-3 sets with Widan.

\nWebster recovered from a 6-0 opening set loss against the Racers’ Varvara Alexeyeva by securing a 7-4 second-set tiebreaker before prevailing in the third-set super tiebreaker, 10-6. Meanwhile, Tapia-Cruz outlasted Murray State’s Yuna Kadowaki, 10-4, in the third-set super tiebreak after winning her first set 6-0 but falling 6-3 in the second.

\nIn straight sets Hamilton dispatched the Racers’ Molly Null, winning 7-5, 6-4.

\nBoth sophomore Jessica Popiol<\/a> and junior Emma Grant<\/a> took first sets off their opponents Saturday but came up short in third-set super tiebreakers.
