The Australian Rugby League Commission has today confirmed the following squad to represent the Harvey Norman\u00a0Jillaroos\u00a0in the 2025\u00a0Pacific\u00a0Championships.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0Jillaroos\u00a0will play Fetu Samoa at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, on October 26, and New Zealand Kiwi Ferns at Eden Park, Auckland on November 2.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Pacific Championships have grown into a brilliant showcase for international Rugby League, showcasing the pride and passion of the Pacific. The Jillaroos will proudly fly the flag for Australia, representing the spirit of our game,\u201d ARLC Chairman Mr Peter V\u2019landys AM said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis squad reflects the depth and quality of the NRLW competition and the exciting future of women\u2019s Rugby League ahead of an exciting 2026 World Cup.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn behalf of the Commission, I extend heartfelt\u00a0congratulations\u00a0to every player selected.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jillaroos\u00a0Coach Jess Skinner congratulated the players.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a strong squad with a number of established Jillaroos as well as players who have progressed to this level through their form in the NRLW competition,\u201d Skinner said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a really important tournament for us and I expect this squad to perform at the highest level as we continue to look towards not only next year\u2019s World Cup but also progressing the women\u2019s game at international level.\u201d<\/p>\n
