R360 bosses are reportedly ramping up their pursuit of Broncos superstar Payne Haas, with a formal pitch to pry him away from the NRL set to be presented this week.<\/p>\n

According to Code Sports<\/a>, discussions with officials from the rebel rugby competition were put on hold until after the grand final, which the Broncos won on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

Now Haas will reportedly sit down with R360 powerbrokers, with Broncos bosses aware of his meeting that could see him depart the Red Hill club.<\/p>\n

Haas is currently set to come off-contact come November 1, meaning he is free to negotiate with rivals on that date and will be free to take part when R360 begins on October 2, 2026.<\/p>\n

News Corp is reporting agents of players being targeted by R360 have been sent a short-form contract.<\/p>\n

That contract includes a potential requirement for players set to sign with R360 to have a medial examination completed before December 20 this year to have a deal confirmed.<\/p>\n

Should a player not pass that examination, their contract can be rescinded.<\/p>\n

Therefore, recruits will have to do a medical while still contracted for their current clubs, with the likes of Zac Lomax, Jye Gray and Ryan Papenhuyzen all being targeted.<\/p>\n

It is unlikely NRL clubs will allow those medicals to take place, considering the threat of the rival code poaching some of rugby league\u2019s top stars.<\/p>\n

The contract issued also reportedly run from July 1 2026 to the end of 2028.<\/p>\n

Players who join R360 are also set to be paid in American dollars, with the competition being registered by a company based in England\u2019s East Midlands Airport.<\/p>\n

Those who win the competition will also receive a share in 25 per cent of prize money, with six events scheduled for their debut season.<\/p>\n

In addition to the lofty salaries on offer, the rebel competition will reportedly cover accommodation for any pre-season training events.<\/p>\n
