After two games of the American League Division Series between the Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers, MLB Network insider Jon Morosi<\/a> would be more than happy to see it go to the full five games.<\/p>\n

Polanco\u2019s big game is two great signs in one for Seattle Mariners<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a one-run Game 1, a one-run Game 2,\u201d Morosi said. \u201cLet\u2019s have three more just like this if all of our hearts can collectively take it. \u2026 I\u2019ll take three more games of this drama.\u201d<\/p>\n

Morosi provided his instant reaction for Seattle Sports from the field at T-Mobile Park after the Mariners\u2019 3-2 victory in Game 2<\/a>, and he had plenty to cover.<\/p>\n

Here are a couple highlights from his video, which you can watch at the top of this post.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Morosi saw the game-winning RBI double by Julio Rodr\u00edguez in the eighth inning from the camera well next to the dugout, giving him a great view of Rodr\u00edguez\u2019s celebration at second base.<\/p>\n

\u201cI asked him about it afterwards. He said, \u2018This place was chaos,\u2019 \u2013 and it was,\u201d Morosi relayed.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s good reason for that, which is that Mariners fans were hoping to see something that had not happened in Seattle since 2001.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese fans, as we all know, have been waiting to see a home playoff win for 24 years. They got it in style.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022 After the Mariners lost Game 1 in 11 innings Saturday, Morosi said it was almost a \u201cdouble defeat\u201d<\/a> because of how much Seattle had to use its bullpen. But after Sunday\u2019s win, Morosi was left quite impressed with what Seattle\u2019s relievers have done in the series.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think one of the key heroes to talk about is collectively the Seattle bullpen,\u201d he said. \u201c\u2026 Between Game 1 and Game 2, just two earned runs allowed by the Seattle bullpen over more than 10 innings work.\u201d<\/p>\n

The concern about the bullpen after Game 1? That\u2019s gone now, as the relievers get Monday to rest up before Game 3 in Detroit.<\/p>\n
