Liam Gallagher<\/a> has seemingly responded to reports that he \u201crelented on his booze ban\u201d for an afterparty marking the end of Oasis<\/a>\u2018 UK tour.<\/p>\n

The band played two final shows at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium last Saturday and Sunday<\/a> (September 27, 28). These followed an initial five-night residency at the venue over the summer<\/a>\u00a0as part of\u00a0the UK and Ireland leg of their\u00a0Live \u201925 reunion tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It has since been reported that Liam joined his brother Noel<\/a> and other bandmates at an afterparty in the capital on Saturday night, per the Daily Mail<\/a>. The outlet claims that the singer \u201crelented on his booze ban\u201d to toast to the band\u2019s success.<\/p>\n

According to the report, this marked the first time the formerly estranged Liam and Noel had partied together in years. The brothers\u2019 mother, Peggy, was also said to have been in attendance.<\/p>\n

A source said: \u201cLiam joined the afterparty for about an hour on Saturday night. Everyone raised a glass to the amazing tour.\u201d<\/p>\n

LG has remained alcohol-free throughout the huge comeback tour. When performing in Dublin last month, the frontman told the crowd that he was the \u201csoberest\u201d he had been in Ireland since he was a child<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At the end of another recent show, Liam explained: \u201cIt\u2019s time for me to go to bed, \u2019cause I\u2019m a little princess these days.\u201d<\/p>\n

LG is said to have skipped Noel\u2019s afterparty at London\u2019s Chiltern Firehouse on Sunday, in favour of \u201ca low-key celebration with Debbie [Gwyther, fianc\u00e9]\u201d, according to The Mirror<\/a>: \u201cThey\u2019re planning an early-ish night because he can\u2019t afford to get ill or for his voice to be damaged.\u201d<\/p>\n

The frontman has since appeared to have addressed the reports, writing on X\/Twitter: \u201cBODY IS A TEMPLE.\u201d In a follow-up post, Liam told his followers that he was \u201cstill free from all temptation\u201d \u2013 seemingly denying the claim that he drank alcohol at Saturday\u2019s afterparty.<\/p>\n

Richard Ashcroft<\/a>, who opened for Oasis in the UK and Ireland this year<\/a>, recently revealed that he had \u201conly seen Liam on stage\u201d at the dates<\/a>, with the frontman avoiding any post-show gatherings or parties. \u201cI\u2019ve got so much respect for that because every night is an opportunity to sort of celebrate in a way, but the guy has been so disciplined on this,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the fans respect that, they can hear that, they can feel that. Whatever he\u2019s doing, whatever his method is, is working, and I\u2019ve got 100 per cent respect for him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Liam has also been pictured heading out of the venues separately by car, immediately after the concerts had finished.<\/p>\n

He reportedly missed a wrap party that the band and crew held in a Dublin pub last month (as per Far Out<\/a>), keeping a distance from any activity that could negatively impact his vocal performance at future shows.<\/p>\n

In 2022, LG admitted to drinking \u201chalf a bottle of brandy\u201d before going on stage<\/a> at his solo concerts. However, he said he later \u201cchilled out\u201d on the habit as he didn\u2019t want to become \u201cdependent on going on stage with alcohol\u201d. Liam has since quit drinking alcohol when on tour.<\/p>\n

At the penultimate Wembley gig last weekend, Liam teased further Oasis tour dates for 2026<\/a> amid ongoing rumours of another leg in the UK. \u201cSee you next year,\u201d he told the audience, before repeating the comment the following evening<\/a>. There has been speculation over a return to London and a 30th anniversary concert at Knebworth, as well as some more homecoming shows in Manchester.<\/p>\n

Before that, however, Oasis are scheduled to take Live \u201925 to South America<\/a>,\u00a0Australia<\/a>,\u00a0South Korea and Japan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a glowing five-star review of the tour\u2019s opening night in Cardiff<\/a>, NME noted that \u201cLiam\u2019s voice hasn\u2019t sounded this good in 20-odd years \u2013 three-dimensional between the punky bile of that skyward \u2018TAKE ME THERE\u2018 in \u2018Slide Away\u2019 and the heartfelt call for brotherhood in \u2018Stand By Me\u2019\u201d.<\/p>\n

Oasis have shared some official live versions of songs from different cities on the Live \u201925\u00a0tour. So far we\u2019ve had\u00a0\u2018Slide Away\u2019 from Cardiff<\/a>,\u00a0\u2018Cigarettes & Alcohol\u2019 from Manchester<\/a>,\u00a0\u2018Little By Little\u2019 from London<\/a>,\u00a0\u2018Bring It On Down\u2019 from Edinburgh<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0\u2018Wonderwall\u2019 from Dublin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the band are set to release\u00a0a 30th anniversary edition of \u2018(What\u2019s The Story) Morning Glory?\u2019<\/a> on Friday (October 3). They dropped an \u201cunplugged\u201d version of the song \u2018Morning Glory\u2019<\/a> from the collection last week. Additionally, Oasis have just announced some 25th anniversary editions of their classic Wembley live album \u2018Familiar To Millions\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In other news, it\u2019s been reported that the upcoming Oasis documentary<\/a> \u2013 produced by Peaky Blinders<\/a>\u00a0director\u00a0Steven Knight<\/a> \u2013 will include some \u201cphenomenal\u201d footage of Liam and Noel\u2019s landmark first meeting<\/a> after getting the band back together.<\/p>\n
