Selwyn Cobbo and Kotoni Staggs were the key names off-contract during the 2025 season and, in the end, the club were only able to keep one of their star backline men.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cobbo departs Red Hill after signing a one-year deal with rivals, the Dolphins<\/a>. Meanwhile, Kobe Hetherington will leave as a premiership-winning forward after he linked with Manly.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Martin Taupau left the club after having a falling out with Michael Maguire, which brought his NRL career to an end.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brisbane locked down veteran playmaker Adam Reynolds for another year, while also securing the key signatures of Kotoni Staggs and Xavier Willison.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Corey Jensen agreed to fresh terms that will keep him at Red Hill until at least the end of the 2027 campaign, while Cory Paix has also inked an extension.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Broncos handed out new deals to the likes of Hayze Perham, Josiah Karapani, Josh Rogers and Blake Mozer as they worked on maintaining quality squad depth.\u00a0<\/p>\n
