Kate Gosselin<\/a> is updating TikTok followers on her recent medical emergency.\n<\/p>\n On Monday, Sept. 29, the former reality star, 50, posted a TikTok<\/a> photo from a hospital bed, hooked up to IVs, and told fans she would really appreciate their prayers.\n<\/p>\n In a follow-up TikTok<\/a> video shared Tuesday, Sept. 30, Kate posted a selfie of herself in a hospital bed, revealing that she underwent surgery. \u201cUpdate: I had surgery this morning and have five pain meds on board (top 3 most painful surgery),\u201d she wrote.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n \u201cI am not in a position to go into the details now but only bc I can’t focus. I did well,\u201d she continued. \u201cDetails coming soon. CANNOT thank you enough for all your prayers! They later welcomed their sextuplets \u2014 Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel \u2014 in 2004. The twins are now 24 and the sextuplets are 21.\n<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I was pregnant with them, my stomach was squished up here, like 1 inch. You can see it on an ultrasound,” Kate said in her TikTok earlier this month. “And my bladder was squished way down here, compressed the whole time with baby weight. Compressed, compressed, compressed.”\n<\/p>\n \u201cIt lost its ability to do what a bladder is supposed to do. It\u2019s a muscle,” she continued. “And it lost its elasticity or whatever.”\n<\/p>\n The mom of eight said that she had a catheter for a week, but since then, her bladder has never been the same.\n<\/p>\n “I can\u2019t exactly explain it, or put my finger on it,” she said. “But it just is very different after that.”<\/p>\n
