\nNOTRE DAME, Ind. \u2013 The UCLA men’s golf team moved into second place out of 16 programs at the Fighting Irish Classic on Monday evening, through two rounds of the 54-hole stroke-play tournament.

\nThe Bruins stand three strokes shy of tournament leader North Carolina (11-under 549), heading into Tuesday’s third and final round. UCLA shot 8-under 552 through the opening two rounds on Monday. Louisville is in third place (3-under 557), with Georgia Southern and tournament host Notre Dame tied for fourth place (1-over 561).

\nUCLA had four players within the top 15 on the individual leaderboard, with sophomore Baylor Larrabee<\/a> tied for sixth place. Larrabee carded 4-under 136 on the par 70 Warren Golf Course, through the first two rounds. The Bruins’ other four performers included senior Kyle An<\/a> (t-9th, at 2-under 138), sophomore Logan Kim<\/a> (t-12th, at 1-under 139), freshman Tyler Loree<\/a> (t-12th, at 1-under 139) and junior Luciano Conlan<\/a> (t-28th, at 2-over 142).

\nLarrabee was one of seven golfers to have shot under 70 in each of the first two rounds. Larrabee, a sophomore from Ferndale, Wash., carded 1-under 69 on the opening round on Monday morning and finished 3-under 67 in the second round, later in the day. He totaled three birdies and two bogeys in the first round, and concluded the second round with five birdies and two bogeys.

\nAn shot even par (70) in the opening round and finished 2-under 68 in the second round. He registered four birdies and two bogeys in the second round, finishing in a tie for ninth place heading into Tuesday’s final round.

\nConlan opened his morning with an eagle on the par-5, 518-yard fifth hole.

\nThe Bruins will return to action at Warren Golf Club on Tuesday at approximately 6 a.m. PT (9 a.m. ET, in Indiana).
