West Coast has been dealt a significant blow following Sunday\u2019s match, with young midfielder Courtney Rowley sustaining a season-ending injury.<\/p>\n
\u201cScans have confirmed that Courtney Rowley has sustained an ACL rupture, and she will now begin planning her recovery with the support of our medical team,\u201d High Performance Manager Sam Batterton said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe surgeon will be consulted this week to determine her next steps.\u201d<\/p>\n
Defender Belinda Smith was also sidelined late in the game with hamstring tightness.<\/p>\n
\u201cBelinda\u2019s scan revealed a hamstring strain,\u201d Batterton said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe expect her to miss the next three to four weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n
In positive news, ruck Liz McGrath is on track to return this weekend after recovering from an ankle sprain sustained in the Fremantle clash.<\/p>\n
\u201cLiz has returned to full training and will look to complete the week with the main group,\u201d Batterton said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf she gets through that, she\u2019ll be available for selection against Adelaide.\u201d<\/p>\n
