For the second straight season, the Sharks fought their way to the preliminary finals but fell agonisingly short of the decider.<\/p>\n

Craig Fitzgibbon’s men nonetheless enjoyed a landmark year that kicked off with a historic match in Las Vegas and concluded just shy of the ultimate prize.<\/p>\n

Read on for some of the stats that defined Cronulla’s 2025 campaign.<\/p>\n

2025 NRL Season: By the Numbers<\/p>\n

1 \u2013 try scored by Toby Rudolf, an unforgettable four-pointer that sealed a sudden-death finals victory over the Roosters and sent Sharks Stadium into raptures.<\/p>\n

2 \u2013 games played by Chris Vea’ila, the team’s only NRL debutant in 2025. The young centre scored a try in his first match against the Roosters in Round 20.<\/p>\n

3 \u2013 field goals kicked by Braydon Trindall, more than anyone else in the league.<\/p>\n

9 \u2013 consecutive games in which KL Iro scored at least one try, becoming the first player of the NRL era to achieve the feat from the start of a season.<\/p>\n
