Credit: West Coast Eagles\/West Coast Eagles<\/p>\nWest Coast AFLW coach Daisy Pearce says any team is \u201cgettable\u201d, including undefeated North Melbourne, as the Eagles enter the final month of the season chasing a maiden finals berth.<\/p>\n
\u201cHow many teams have we described over the history of footy and sport that are unbeatable until they are?\u201d Pearce said, ahead of Saturday\u2019s crunch game against another historical powerhouse, Adelaide, at Norwood Oval.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey (North Melbourne) are playing some incredible footy.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s awesome to see the evolution of the game, and you see that when you watch them play.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut you know, the hunters below them are always looking for ways to beat them. So I wouldn\u2019t rule it out. It\u2019s not theirs until they\u2019ve got their hands on it. And I\u2019m sure that\u2019s what all the teams that make finals will be thinking.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Eagles and Crows are sixth and seventh on the ladder, with 5-3 win-loss records and similar percentages.<\/p>\n
West Coast is coming off successive record score victories over GWS and Collingwood at home, the Crows are desperate to atone for a shock loss to bottom-of-the-table team Richmond.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe expect them to come out pretty fierce, and they\u2019ll respond … given the competitors that they are,\u201d Pearce said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019ve got some incredible players. They have had success because they\u2019ve been able to manage weeks like they probably had last week and bounce back quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Eagles have adjusted the dimensions of their training ground given they are headed to Norwood Oval, which is the skinniest of the AFLW venues, 164m long and 109m from the widest points of the boundary.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re starting to get used to that, and then talking through some of the slight tweaks that it means with your strategy, and we\u2019ll get out and have a look at it in our captain\u2019s run when we get over to Adelaide as well,\u201d Pearce said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is a bit unique with how narrow it is. And yeah, it\u2019s just one of those challenges. But I think again, that\u2019s been a part of the growth of our team, is their ability to adapt to different things that different games throw at us and different opposition.\u201d<\/p>\n

Defender and co-captain Charlie Thomas and exciting forward Roxy Roux will play their 50th games on the road in Fremantle\u2019s Pride Jumpers.<\/p>\n
Roux returns from illness and replaces gun youngster Courtney Rowley, who ruptured her ACL for a second time in the Eagles\u2019 win over the Magpies.<\/p>\n
Thomas has not missed a game since making her debut in 2022.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s amazing to think she hasn\u2019t missed a game.
